Adobe sync UI to manage subscription discrepancies

The Adobe sync user interface (UI) allows Marketplace Managers to manage subscription discrepancies with Adobe and synchronize data to the Marketplace.

For the initial launch, the Adobe Sync UI will be available in Read-Only mode. This means that while subscription data can be viewed, no synchronization of subscription changes will be allowed at this time. The purpose of this Read-Only mode is to allow partners to test and familiarize themselves with the new interface before it is fully operational. If you notice any discrepancies in a subscription that require correction, please contact your AppDirect technical representative for assistance.

Supported attributes for sync

The following attributes from Adobe will be synced immediately into the marketplace when one or more subscriptions are selected for synchronization:

  • Status

  • Discount Level

  • Quantity

  • Price

📝 Note: Adobe’s APIs provide pricing information only for the current month and the next month. Historical pricing is unavailable. The Estimated price shown in the UI is an approximation based on the most recent quantity and the Pricebook settings configured in the AppDirect-powered marketplace.

  • Auto-renew

  • Contract End Date

Prerequisites

Before using this utility, you must ensure that the following prerequisites are met:

  • Set up Adobe integration, if not done already. Refer to Configure and sell Adobe products for more details.

📝 Note: Double-check all prerequisites and marketplace settings as specified in this section, even if previously configured.

  • Contact your AppDirect technical representative to enable the required functionalities.

View the Adobe sync UI

To view the Adobe sync UI as a Marketplace Manager:

Navigate to Marketplace > Dashboard > Admin Tasks > Adobe. A paginated list of subscriptions that require attention will be displayed.

📝 Note:

  • By clicking on a specific subscription, you can view the details of that subscription, including values and discrepancies.
  • Tabs:
    • Subscriptions with Discrepancies: This tab is default sorted by the Created Date.
    • Synced Subscriptions: This tab is default sorted by the Sync Date.

Understand the subscriptions requiring attention

  • Click on any subscription record in the Subscriptions with Discrepancies tab.
  • Any value that differs between the Adobe system and the Marketplace for that subscription will be highlighted in red.

Underlying feature behavior

  • Marketplace modifications only:
Changes will only be made to the marketplace subscription. No modifications will be made in the Adobe system.
  • Sync from Adobe:
The UI is designed to sync data from Adobe to the marketplace—not the other way around.
  • No invoices or notifications:
    • No invoices will be generated as part of the sync process.
    • No webhooks, notifications, or events will be triggered during the sync.
  • Scheduled changes:
If any changes are applied to an existing contract, any scheduled changes on the marketplace will be cancelled.
