Leads

Leads are potential customers who have interest in your company's products. They can click the Contact Us button on product or Reseller profiles to express interest in a product, submit their contact information, and request a response.

Following are some key aspects of lead management from your perspective as a vendor:

  • Marketplaces may be configured to automatically assign you leads that have interest in your company's products. Alternatively, marketplaces may be configured to send them to the Marketplace Manager who then assigns them to you, Resellers (if enabled on the marketplace), or Sales Support Representatives (SSRs).
  • You can manually create leads to record those that you learn of off-platform.
  • You can view leads that you create, that you are assigned, or to which you were previously assigned.
  • You can submit leads that are assigned to you or created by you to the Marketplace Manager so that they can assign them to other users to pursue.
  • You can disqualify leads that are assigned to you.
  • You can delete leads that you manually create.

You can view, create, and manage leads on the Leads page at Manage > Billing and Distribution > Leads.
