View and manage leads

This topic explains the details contained in leads, and actions that Developers can take to manage leads including editing leads, submitting leads to partner managers (Marketplace Managers), and deleting and disqualifying leads from the lead's details page.

To view and manage leads

  1. Go to Manage > Billing & Distribution > Leads. The Leads page opens.
Note the following about the table:
    • The Show Filters button supports filtering the leads by start and end date.
    • The Download CSV button generates a report that contains lead information.
The downloaded CSV can contain only a maximum of 50 records.
    • The Search field enables searching for a text string to locate specific entries.
    • The Created and Company columns are sortable. The User, Source, Recipient, and Status columns are fixed.
  2. Click any row. The selected lead's details page opens and displays the following information about the lead:
    • Status—Either Pending Submission, Submitted, Assigned, Converted, Disqualified, or Deleted.
    • User—User's (lead's) name. Although you can also create a lead manually, the assumption for the UI labels is that the lead is the user entering their information.
    • Email address—User's (lead's) email address.
    • Source of the lead, any one of the following:
      • Source: {resellerProfileName}—Lead generated from a reseller profile. For example, Source: GunnComm Resellers (reseller profiles typically use the company name as the profile name).
      • Source: {productProfileName}—Lead generated from a product profile. For example, Source: GunnComm Parent App.
      • Source: {ReferralUserName}—Lead generated by a Referral user. For example, Source: Roberto Pistola.
      • Company Source: companyName—Lead generated manually by a reseller or a developer company. The label changes from Source to Company Source and includes the company name. For example, Company Source: GunnComm Resellers.
      • Company Source: {marketplaceName}—Lead generated manually by a Marketplace Manager or Reseller Manager. For example, Company Source: TeleMax App Market.
      • Company Source: {marketplaceName} Sales—Lead generated manually by a Sales Support Representative (SSR). For example, Company Source: TeleMax App Market Sales.
    • Assigned to—The Reseller, Sales Support Representative (SSR), Developer, or reseller company to whom the lead is assigned.
    • (Optional) Custom attribute fields or checkboxes. Custom attribute fields that a Marketplace Manager creates can appear on a lead's details page.
  3. (Optional) For leads in the Pending Submission state, complete any of the following:
    • Manage the lead offline—Contact the lead outside of the platform and facilitate the sale, and edit the lead Company Details, User Details, and Notes sections as you require.
    • Edit the lead—Edit the lead Company Details, User Details, and Notes sections. You can do this as you manage the lead offline or prepare the lead to submit it to Partner Managers (Marketplace Managers) for assignment. For more information, see Edit leads.
    • Submit the lead to Partner Managers—Send the lead to the Marketplace Manager who can assign it to a Sales Support Representative (SSR) who can contact the potential customer. For more information, see Submit leads to partner managers.
    • Delete the lead—Inactivate the lead that you created. For more information, see Delete leads.
  4. (Optional) For leads assigned to you, the Developer, complete any of the following:
    • Disqualify the lead—Make the lead inactive, indicating it is no longer a viable lead. For more information, see Disqualify leads.
    • Submit the lead to Partner Managers—Send the lead to the Marketplace Manager who can assign it to a Sales Support Representative (SSR) who can contact the potential customer.
  5. (Optional) For leads in all statuses including Submitted, Assigned, Converted, and Disqualified, on the lead details page you can view the lead information, notes, status and history. The history table logs the following changes:
    • All status changes of a lead
