Enable Adobe renewal failure notications

The Adobe renewal failure notifications are designed to alert marketplace stakeholders when an Adobe subscription renewal fails. These failures typically result from:

  • Contract end date discrepancies
  • Renewal quantity mismatches

This notification system provides visibility into renewal issues, allowing marketplace operations to resolve them promptly and ensure uninterrupted service for end customers.

Prerequisites

Before configuring notifications, ensure that the enableAdobeRenewalFailureNotification (AppSetting) is toggled on to enable the feature. Contact your AppDirect technical representative for assistance.

To enable Adobe renewal failure email notifications:

  1. Go to Manage > Marketplace > Settings > Custom UI | Notifications. The Notifications listing page opens.

  2. Select one or more of the following Adobe renewal failure notification templates based on your requirements:

    • Adobe Subscription Renewal Failure - Quantity Mismatch
    • Adobe Subscription Renewal Failure - Contract End Date Mismatch
    • Adobe Subscription Renewal Failure - Both Quantity & End Date Mismatch
    • Adobe Subscription Renewal Failure Notification - Generic Failures
  3. Click the gear icon > Edit next to the selected template.

  4. In the Email Options drop-down list, select Enable Email Notifications.

  5. Click Save.

    📝 Note: By default, the notification uses the en-US email template.

To configure templates for other languages:

If you need to send notifications in a language other than English:

  1. In the Email content section, select the desired language in the Language drop-down list.
  2. Ensure that the email subject and email body are correctly populated. If either field is empty:
    • Copy the content from the English (en-US) template.
    • Translate the content into the selected language.
    • Paste the translated text into the respective fields.
  3. Click Save.
