Transition at subscription renewal date

On the AppDirect marketplace, partners with Microsoft products can transition Microsoft legacy subscriptions to NCE subscriptions at the subscription renewal date.

When Transition at renewal is enabled on a marketplace, legacy Microsoft subscriptions with a subscription renewal date after July 11, 2022 will automatically transition to NCE subscriptions.

Limitations:

Unlike the Transition API, there are a number of limitations associated with using the Transition at renewal feature:

• New NCE subscriptions will be purchased for the full term. The subscription dates will be as follows:
  • Start date: transition date
  • End date: transition date plus the full term
• Billing cycle updates are not allowed after transition to NCE
• Seats cannot be increased or decreased after transition to NCE
