Canceling NCE product subscriptions using APIs
📝 Note: If the AppDirect logo appears in the upper-left corner of the page, when Manage > Marketplace appears in this topic, click the grid icon > Switch to | Store, instead.
You can cancel NCE subscriptions seven days after the purchase date using the subscription API with the Enable scheduled cancellation setting enabled.
⛔ Caution: Contact your AppDirect technical representative to request to enable the Enable scheduled cancellation setting. This high risk setting is disabled by default because it changes cancellation behavior on the marketplace.
With the Enable scheduled cancellation setting enabled and seven days after the purchase date when:
- The subscription owner of an NCE product with a contract requests cancellation they can Cancel at the end of the contract
- The subscription owner of an NCE product without a contract requests cancellation they can Cancel at the end of the billing cycle
With the Enable scheduled cancellation setting disabled and seven days after the purchase date when:
- The subscription owner of an NCE product requests cancellation, they have No option to cancel. This error message appears: You have passed your 7 day cancellation window. The subscription cannot be canceled.
Disable the Enable scheduled cancellation setting after use.
⛔ Caution: This high risk setting is disabled by default because it changes cancellation behavior on the marketplace. We recommend that you contact your AppDirect technical representative and request we disable this setting after you have canceled the specific NCE subscriptions seven days after the purchase date using the API.
