To edit notification templates

📝 Note: If the AppDirect logo appears in the upper-left corner of the page, when Manage > Marketplace appears in this topic, click the grid icon > Switch to | Store, instead.

  1. Go to Manage > Marketplace > Settings > Custom UI | Notifications. The Notifications page opens.
  2. Click the gear icon for a notification that you want to edit, and then click Edit to open the notification template page.
  3. Select the notification template that you want to edit. The default notification template is shown when you open this page.
  4. Edit the notification content layout using the options in the UI. You can also make changes to the notification content using the source code. Click <> to view the source code. For more information on how to edit notification content and conditions, see Create notification templates and conditions and Configure notification content.
  5. If you have any custom attribute parameters, you can drag and drop them into the cc/bcc lines of the notification template. For example, if key customer accounts have assigned account managers, their emails can be captured through a custom attribute and included in the cc/bcc line. This ensures account managers stay informed about all customer communications, helping them better manage expectations.
  6. Click Save to save the changes to your notification template.
  7. Send a test notification with the updated notification content. For more information, see Send a test notification for a delivery method.
