Network Manager is the user interface (UI) used to manage a hierarchy of multiple marketplaces. It is also the user responsible for doing so. Users must have the Network Manager role to access the corresponding UI. The Network Manager interface is only available to Network edition marketplaces.

You can access Network Manager from the top navigation pane after you log in as a user with the Network Manager role. It contains two or four links depending on whether Reports are enabled for your marketplace and if you also have the Network Catalog Manager role: Dashboard, Billing, Products, and Reports.

The Network Catalog consists of the following:

• Published products in the parent marketplace’s staging catalog (for the product to be in the production catalog it needs to be in the staging catalog). These products could be native (created in) to the parent marketplace, or have been syndicated to the parent marketplace from a marketplace located above it in the hierarchy.
• Products in the AppDirect catalog if the marketplace is the top-level marketplace

The Network Catalog Manager is the marketplace user that adds products to the staging catalogs of their child marketplaces.
