Create owner company account in Salesforce
Once you have created an integration user in Salesforce, you can create an owner company account in Salesforce. The owner company account is the company that the sales agents belong to in AppDirect. This creates a Salesforce account to represent the owner company in AppDirect.
Prerequisites
- Create an integration user in Salesforce
- Get the UUID of the owner company in AppDirect.
To find the UUID of the owner company in AppDirect:
- Go to AppDirect > Manage > Marketplace > Dashboard > Companies.
- Click on the owner company.
- Copy the UUID value in the company details.
To create an owner company account in Salesforce
- Click the Accounts tab.
- Click New.
- In the Company Type field, select Marketplace Agent.
- In the AppDirect ID field, enter the UUID of the owner company in the AppDirect system.
- Click Save.
