Configure the AppDirect marketplace domain name

Enabling the AppDirect marketplace domain name enables users to click the AppDirect link on an account, opportunity, or contact record in Salesforce to access the corresponding record in AppDirect.

Prerequisites

Assign AppDirect user permission set

To configure the marketplace domain and name

1. Click the gear icon on the top right of the page.
2. Click Setup.
3. Go to Platform Tools > Custom Code > Custom Settings. The Custom Settings page appears.
4. Click AppDirect Marketplace Settings.
5. Click Manage.
6. Click New.
7. In the Marketplace Domain field, add the marketplace URL. For example, https://<domain>.byappdirect.com.
8. In the Marketplace Name field, add the name. The name should match the company name of the company name in AppDirect.
