Configure Google Analytics settings

If you have a Google Analytics account, you can configure your marketplace to send user activity data to that account so it can be processed and viewed.

Before you begin, you must establish, configure, and log in to your Google Analytics account. Locate your Tracking ID (sometimes called a Property ID). This number usually begins with a UA- prefix.

Caution

To avoid potential duplication of data tracking, if you use this feature, make sure that the Tracking ID field on this page is empty, or does not match any ID that you enter on the Usage Analytics Accounts page, for more information, see Configure usage analytics accounts. Although you can enter the same type of account ID on both pages, the Usage Analytics Accounts feature is configured to provide you with more third-party page view and event data than what you can get if you configure a tracking ID on this page.
