Download template JSON files

📝 Note: This feature only supports invoice template customizations. Document Builder, which supports both invoice and quote template customizations, might be available on your marketplace. For more information, see Document Builder.

Marketplace Managers can download default and user-defined invoice template JSON files to reference and edit offline. The default template JSON files are the same as the JSON structure file. For more information on Invoice template JSON files, see Invoice template JSON introduction.

To download JSON files from templates

1. Go to Manage > Marketplace > Settings > Invoice templates . The Invoice templates list page opens.

2. Do one of the following:

   • Click invoiceName | Gear icon > Download JSON.
   • Click invoiceName > Export JSON.
   • (For user-defined templates only) Click invoiceName > Select an option from the Last Updated drop-down list > Export JSON.

   The file automatically downloads to your default local downloads folder.
