Builtfirst integration in AppDirect marketplaces

Builtfirst is now integrated as an extended capability in AppDirect Marketplaces for qualifying accounts. This page explains how you can access Builtfirst from an AppDirect marketplace, how it is included with your marketplace account, and how it appears alongside other marketplace functionality.

In the latest navigation experience, you can open Builtfirst from the Grid menu in the top-left corner of the header. Click Promotions or Storefronts. Either option opens Builtfirst inside the Marketplace shell. The Builtfirst UI shares the same header, navigation, and visual theme so that the experience stays consistent with the rest of the marketplace.

Who has access

Customers who sign up for an AppDirect marketplace through appdirect.com and whose marketplace is provisioned on or after May 14, 2026 are automatically eligible. For these marketplaces, a Builtfirst subscription is included with other AppDirect account capabilities after provisioning is complete.

How to open Builtfirst

Before you begin, ensure that you have the latest navigation experience in your marketplace.

To open Builtfirst

1. Click the Grid menu in the top-left corner of the header.
2. Click Promotions or Storefronts. Both options open Builtfirst within the same Marketplace window.

If you do not see the Promotions or Storefronts options, it may be due to one of the following reasons:

• The marketplace was created before the eligibility date.
• The marketplace has a legacy header or navigation configuration.
• Your user role does not have the required permissions.
• Provisioning is still in progress.

Account and subscriptions

Builtfirst is an account-level subscription alongside your AppDirect marketplace subscription. Subscription management follows the same general pattern as other marketplace capabilities.

Has the marketplace signup URL or flow changed?

No. The marketplace signup flow has not changed. Eligible marketplaces now receive additional functionality (Builtfirst) as described above.

Is Builtfirst a different product?

It is a different product but now part of the same ecosystem. It is unified as an in-product experience within your marketplace with functional areas (storefronts, promotions, deals) that support Builtfirst workflows.

How do we request access to Builtfirst if we signed up for a new marketplace before the eligibility date?
