Configure tax display settings

📝 Note: This documentation page may refer to Manage > Marketplace in navigation steps. If the Manage option is not available in your navigation, click the grid icon on the top-left corner of your header and click Marketplace.

This topic is applicable to marketplaces for which the following is true:

  • The enhanced invoice feature is enabled: When it is enabled, the Invoice Settings menu item appears at Manage > Marketplace > Settings. If it is disabled, contact your AppDirect technical representative.
  • The marketplace uses a tax integration engine and applies multiple tax types.

When marketplaces use tax integration engines and apply multiple tax types, Marketplace Managers can configure invoice tax display settings to determine how taxes appear in the enhanced invoice views in the user interface.

The tax display setting configuration applies to all enhanced invoice views, past and future invoices, and invoices issued by the marketplace and resellers.

To configure tax display settings

  1. Go to Manage > Marketplace > Settings > Invoice settings.
  2. Scroll to Tax display settings.
  3. Complete one of the following actions:
    • Select Combined tax line. Proceed to the last step.
    • Complete the following steps to enable Tax line by type:
      1. Select Tax line by type. The tax names and the order in which the taxes appear are determined by the integrated tax engine.
      2. (Optional) Turn on Total tax line.
  4. Click Save.
