Update subscriptions v2

The new version of update subscriptions enhances the experience with a modernized interface and expanded functionality.

Following are the new features introduced in the new version:

  • Update or renewal quotes: You can now send quotes to customers for approval, simplifying the communication and approval process.
  • Schedule future upgrades: You can pre-schedule future upgrades, giving customers more flexibility and visibility in their subscription management.
  • Custom pricing options: Depending on permissions, you can offer tailored pricing, helping to meet specific customer needs and enhance upsell opportunities.
  • Multi-subscription management: You can now handle updates across multiple subscriptions simultaneously, saving time and increasing operational efficiency.

To update subscriptions

  1. If you are an enterprise customer -
    1. Navigate Operations > Users and then click on a Name.
      The User Details page appears.
    2. Click on the required order.
      The Order Details window appears.
    3. In the Update Subscription tab, click Try new experience.
      A new opportunity is created for the order, and the details page appears.
    4. Perform the required updates. You can update the subscription details, the payment details, and the product details. Under the Products section, you can -
      • Add a new subscription and update its details.
      • Update the number of users.
      • Update the plan.
      • Schedule future upgrades under Date Controls.
    5. (Optional) Click Create Quote and then click the gear icon > Request customer approval to send it for customer approval.
    6. Click Save.
      The subscription details are updated.
  2. If you are a self-serve customer -
    1. Go to Manage > Account > Applications.
      The Manage Apps page opens.
    2. Click Update Subscription next to the application that you want to update. A new page will appear displaying the available editions of the product.
    3. Select the required edition and then click Next.
      The Update Subscription page appears.
    4. Perform the required updates (such as edition change, number of users, and payment details).
    5. Click Update Subscription.
      The subscription details are updated.
