Marketplace Insights
Marketplace Insights is a data visualization and analytics tool that provides Marketplace Managers with access to key performance indicators (KPIs) about transactions on their marketplace.
KPIs are provided to you in pre-populated dashboards that are organized within folders, making it easy for you to find relevant information about how your marketplace is performing.
The KPI types you can access include:
- Transactional KPIs, including metrics such as Gross Merchandise Value (GMV) broken down by applications
- The total number of companies, subscriptions, users and seats in your marketplace as well as overall trends for those KPIs
- Strategy-related dashboards that align with AppDirect's Go To Market Playbook best practices, such as assisted sales, cross-selling and up-selling
Marketplace Insights is provided to you automatically, and the KPIs are automatically updated daily, giving you up-to-date insight into your marketplace success. For more information, see Marketplace KPI insights definitions.
In some cases, a marketplace may not generate enough data to populate Marketplace Insights with KPIs. In such cases, instead of real KPIs, sample data displays under a heading Let’s sell some apps! When sufficient marketplace data is available, the sample data is replaced with real KPIs.
