Configure reviews and questions

Each product profile on your marketplace can gather and display customer-generated content on the Review and Question tabs. Customers can view a product profile by clicking a product listing on either the Featured Applications or All Applications page.

To configure reviews and questions

📝 Note: If the AppDirect logo appears in the upper-left corner of the page, when Manage > Marketplace appears in this topic, click the grid icon > Switch to | Store, instead.

  1. Go to Manage > Marketplace > Settings > Settings | Marketplace Functionality, then scroll to the Reviews & Questions section.
  2. Enter the number of ratings that must be received before the review or question appears on the product's profile page.
  3. Click the Purchase Required checkbox to require that customers purchase the product before submitting a review of it.
  4. Click the Questions checkbox to hide the Questions tab for all products' profile pages.
  5. Click the User Content checkbox to require that Marketplace Managers approve all user-generated content before publishing it on a product's profile page. User content includes questions, ratings, and reviews.
    When this feature is enabled, a message appears at Manage > Marketplace > Dashboard > Home | Overview and notifies the Marketplace Manager that customer-created content requires approval. For example:
    Review pending posts from customers Click the link in the message to open the Reviews & Questions page, then approve or deny each individual pending post, or approve all pending posts. Approved posts appear on the corresponding product profile page.
  6. Click Save Settings. Your Reviews & Questions settings are saved.
