Remove devices

Removing a device from the device pool automatically cancels any existing device assignments.

To remove a device

📝 Note: If the AppDirect logo appears in the upper-left corner of the page, when Manage > Marketplace appears in this topic, click the grid icon > Switch to | Store, instead.

  1. Go to Manage > Marketplace > Products > Platforms & Devices | Devices. The Devices page opens with the Add or review devices tab selected by default.
  2. Click the platform from which you want to remove a device. The selected platform appears in the right pane.
  3. Enter the External ID (for example, serial number, VIN, or other unique ID) for the device, then click the search icon or press Enter.
  4. Click Review. The device details page opens.
  5. Click Remove. A confirmation dialog opens.
  6. Click Remove again to confirm you want to remove the device. The device no longer exists in the device pool and any device assignments are automatically canceled.
