Transfer Google product subscriptions using GTT

Marketplace managers can transfer Google product subscriptions from one reseller to another reseller using the Google Transfer Token (GTT).

Prerequisites

  • The feature will not be enabled by default. Contact your AppDirect technical representative to request this feature.
  • Enable channel service API on the Google console.
  • Update the Marketplace edition code in the product profile. For information, see Update Marketplace edition code for Channel service API topic in Google Cloud Platform products section.

To transfer Google product subscriptions

📝 Note: If the AppDirect logo appears in the upper-left corner of the page, when Manage > Marketplace appears in this topic, click the grid icon > Switch to | Store, instead.

  1. Go to Manage > Marketplace > Settings > INTEGRATION | Google Transfer Tool.
    The Subscription Migration Requests list page appears.
  2. Click New Request.
    The New Request page appears.
  3. Complete the following fields:
    • Reseller Public Identifier: Select the public identifier of the reseller to which you want to transfer the subscription.
    • Google Transfer Token: Enter the Google transfer token for the subscription to be transferred. To generate the token, refer to Transfer a subscription to a reseller.
    • Marketplace Company: Select the marketplace company. Before you select, ensure that the billing details and company address are configured.
    • Google Domain: Enter the domain details of the reseller.
    • Marketplace User: Select the marketplace user whose subscription needs to be transferred to the reseller.
  4. Click Get Subscription Details.
    The list of all Google subscriptions appears.
  5. Select the existing plan or you can choose to select from the other available plans before transferring to the reseller.
  6. Click Migrate.
    The success message appears showing the status of the request in the Subscription Migration Requests list page. When a request is initiated, the status will be displayed as In Progress and it changes to Completed after the transfer is complete.

    Note: If a request fails for any reason, you can view the details of the error in Manage > Marketplace > Dashboard > EVENTS | Event Logs > Integration Events.

Limitations

It is important to note that the transfer of Google Cloud Platform and Google add-ons is currently not supported.
