Create the Company Entitlements file

Important: Microsoft Azure Global CSP integration has been deprecated. Deprecated features are only available to existing AppDirect customers who already use them. If you are a new customer, you cannot use this feature. For more information about deprecation, see Product lifecycle phases.

This file contains information about the company's subscription to a product.

To create a company entitlements file

  • Retrieve the information detailed in the table below. Some information is available in Microsoft Partner Center (PAC), and some information is available in the Marketplace Products Report, see Report descriptions.
HeaderDescription
EXTERNAL_ IDA unique string. It can be a Microsoft Subscriptions ID.
EDITION_PRICING_UUIDThe edition (pricing plan) of the corresponding product profile on the marketplace. Get this from the Marketplace Products report.
COMPANY_EXTERNAL_IDThe unique external identifier of the company. This is the Microsoft Tenant ID which is available in the UI of the Microsoft Partner Center (PAC).
PURCHASED_BY_EXTERNAL_IDThe first Company Admin email address. This is only true if marketplace owner used company synchronization to create a company on marketplace.
VENDOR_ENTITLEMENT_IDThis is Microsoft Subscription ID. This is available in the UI of the Microsoft Partner Center.
PRICING_UNITGet this from the Marketplace Products report. It is usually USER.
QUANTITYQuantity of licenses. This is available in the UI of the Microsoft Partner Center.
START_DATESubscription creation date. The renewal date is available in the UI of the Microsoft Partner Center. The start date is the renewal date minus one year.

In the PAC graphic below:

  • The quantity of licenses is two.
  • The subscription start date is the renewal date minus one year. In the graphic below go to Status. The renewal date is 13 October 2017 so the subscription start date is 13 October 2016.
  • To get the VENDOR_ENTITLEMENT_ID, which is also the Microsoft Subscription ID, go to the Microsoft Partner Center > Subscriptions and select the subscription being migrated. In the graphic below the subscription is Office 365 Enterprise E1 and the Microsoft subscription ID is 8229FA43-DA70-4D97-A162-7E5EF9E118F0.

View the report and find the marketplace product that matches your subscription.

  • The EDITION_PRICING_UUID is 0ab16700-9f8c-4781-aab3-99165a7140dc.
  • The Edition Name of the product is Office 365 Enterprise E1
