Change page layouts

Marketplace Managers can change the layout of storefront pages with the visual editor. You can drag components up or down in the component list to change their vertical positions on the page. As you move components, you can see the page structure change in the preview pane in real time.

In some cases, you might not be able to move components depending on the theme configuration. For example, the theme developer might have placed a product carousel at the top of the page with the intention that it cannot be moved from that position.

In the visual editor, you can determine whether it is possible to move a component in the list if an accordion icon is visible:

📝 Note: If the AppDirect logo appears in the upper-left corner of the page, when Manage > Marketplace appears in this topic, click the grid icon > Switch to | Store, instead.

1. Go to Manage > Marketplace > Theme Manager.
2. In the My Themes list, locate your theme and click Customize.
3. From the drop-down menu at the top left (it displays Home Page by default), select the theme page.
4. In the Customize pane, click Components. The component list opens.
5. Hover over the accordion icon in the component you want to move, then drag the component up or down in the component list. The layout changes in real time in the preview pane.
