Edit segmented product visibility

Anonymous users (users who are not logged in to a marketplace) can view products that are associated with segments.

Marketplace Managers have the option to restrict visibility of these products to users who are in the segment and logged in to the marketplace.

📝 Note: Only users of companies who are associated with a segment can purchase associated products, even if the products are visible to anonymous users.

Prerequisite

  1. Go to Manage > Marketplace > Settings > Marketplace Functionality.
  2. Select Enable with restrictions under Segmented Product Visibility to Logged Out Users.

To manage visibility of a product that is associated with a segment,

📝 Note: This documentation page may refer to Manage > Marketplace in navigation steps. If the Manage option is not available in your navigation, click the grid icon on the top-left corner of your header and click Marketplace.

  1. Go to Manage > Marketplace > Settings > Settings | Marketplace Functionality, then scroll to the Customer UI section.
  2. Disable the Segmented Product Visibility setting.
  3. Click Save.

Manage visibility of segmented products at a product level

  2. Click the gear icon next to the product you want to edit, then select Edit Marketplace Settings.
  3. On the Product Settings page, click the Product tab. Scroll to the Segments section and select the Segmented Product Visibility to Logged Out Users check box.
