Create a CSP service account on the Microsoft Partner Center

❗ Important: Microsoft Azure Global CSP integration has been deprecated. Deprecated features are only available to existing AppDirect customers who already use them. If you are a new customer, you cannot use this feature. For more information about deprecation, see Product lifecycle phases.

Follow this procedure to create a CSP service account on the Microsoft Partner Center. Do this when linking your marketplace with Microsoft.

To create a CSP service account on the Microsoft Partner Center

1. Log on to the Microsoft Partner Center using administrative credentials.
2. Create a service account user to use to connect to AppDirect. In Roles and permissions, select the following:
   1. Manages your organization’s account as: Global admin
   2. Assists your customers as: Admin agent
3. In Users > Active users enable Manage multi-factor authentication.
4. Log on to the Microsoft Partner Center using the new user credentials.
5. Change the temporary password. You need this password when setting up Microsoft integration on AppMarket.
