Purchase Google products with domains (Checkout V1)

Prerequisites for Checkout V1

• The domain registrar must be approved for integration with AppDirect and the merchant must have a commercial relationship established with them.
• A domain registrar is configured on the marketplace. For more information, see Set up domain providers.
• The product is configured for combined domain purchases. For more information, see Add products for combined domain purchase .
• The marketplace storefront is configured for cross-selling. For more information, see Configure domain cross-selling.

You can purchase a single domain or multiple domains with a Google product. If you purchase multiple domains, you must select one domain to use with the Google product. If you previously purchased a domain, you can add it to your Google product purchase. The following procedure describes how the customer would purchase a domain with a Google product.

To purchase a Google product and a domain,

1. Go to Marketplace. Browse or search for a Google product, such as Google Workspace, and select it.
2. Click Buy Now. The Create Order page opens.
3. Select the edition and enter the number of users that may be assigned to the subscription in the Number of Users field. Click Continue. The Additional Information page opens.
4. Do one of the following:
   • Enter a domain in the search field and click Search Domains. Click Add next to your preferred domain.
   • Enter a domain that you already own in the search field and click Apply.
5. Complete the account and company details and click Continue Checkout. The Complete Billing Details page opens.
6. Complete billing details and click Continue. The order confirmation page opens.
7. Select I agree to the Terms of Service, Privacy and Refund policies and click Place Order. The order receipt appears and an email receipt is automatically sent to the user.

Complete the setup of the Google product with the following procedures:

• Accept the Google Apps reseller agreement
• Verify domain ownership
