Purchase Google products with domains (Checkout V2)

Prerequisites for Checkout V2

• The domain registrar must be approved for integration with AppDirect and the merchant must have a commercial relationship established with them.
• A domain registrar is configured on the marketplace. For more information, see Set up domain providers.
• The product is configured for combined domain purchases. For more information, see Add products for combined domain purchase .
• The marketplace storefront is configured for cross-selling. For more information, see Configure domain cross-selling.
• Checkout v2 is enabled by AppDirect and configured for the marketplace. For more information, see Configure checkout settings.

You can purchase a single domain with a Google product in the V2 checkout flow.

To purchase a Google product and a domain,

1. Go to the Marketplace. Browse or search for a Google product, such as Google Workspace and click Buy.
2. Select an edition for this product and click Buy Now. The edition is added to your cart.
3. You can select a domain. If you do not need a domain click No, thanks.
4. Enter a domain in the search field and click Search. Click Select next to your preferred domain.
5. Click Edit beside Google requires additional information. An Additional Information dialog appears. Complete the requested information. It may include the following fields:
   • Username
   • Alternate email address
   • Company name
   • Contact Name
   • Address
   • City
   • Zip Code
   • Phone Number
   • Country—select a country from the dropdown
   • State—select a state from the dropdown
6. Click Save details.
7. Click Edit beside _{Domain Provider Name} requires additional information_. An Additional Information dialog appears. Complete the requested information. It may include the following fields:
   • First name
   • Last name
   • Address
   • Suite
   • City
   • Zip Code
   • Country—select a country from the dropdown
   • State
   • Phone Number
   • Email
8. Click Save details.
9. Click Next. The Billing page opens.
10. Complete the billing details. The Review and Buy page opens.
11. Select the checkbox to agree to the terms, conditions, and privacy policy and click Complete Purchase.
12. A purchase confirmation appears and an email receipt is sent to the purchaser.
13. After the combined purchase, the following actions occur:
14. The domain registrar for the marketplace (configured by the Marketplace Manager) provisions the domain purchase.
15. AppDirect sends information about the domain the user purchased to Google.
16. AppDirect and Google associate the domain with the customer’s Google product subscription.
