Link leads to orders

Marketplace Managers, Reseller Managers, Resellers, and Sales Support Representatives (SSRs) can create links between leads with the status of Converted and any number of orders to track a sales lead from to its beginning to it becoming an order.

To link converted leads and orders

📝 Note: If the AppDirect logo appears in the upper-left corner of the page, when Manage > Marketplace appears in this topic, click the grid icon > Switch to | Store, instead.

  1. Go to one of the following locations depending on your user role:
    • Marketplace Managers at Manage > Marketplace > Home | Leads
    • Reseller Managers at Manage > Reseller > Deal Management | Leads
    • SSRs at Manage > Marketplace > Customers | Leads
    • Resellers at Manage > Resellers > Deal Management | Leads
      The Leads page appears and displays all existing leads.
  2. Click the row of a lead with a status of Converted that you want to link to an order. The selected lead’s details page appears.
  3. Click Link Order below the Orders table. The Link Orders dialog appears.
  4. Enter the order number in the search field. The field automatically completes based on your partial entry. The order’s details appear in the dialog.
  5. Click Link to link the lead to the order. The selected lead’s detail page appears and includes an Unlink Order button in the row for the newly linked order.
  6. (Optional) Click Unlink Order to delete the link between the lead and the order.
