Assign leads

Marketplace Managers can assign leads created by any marketplace user to a reseller company or to all Sales Support Representatives. The assignee is then responsible for the lead.

To assign a lead

📝 Note: If the AppDirect logo appears in the upper-left corner of the page, when Manage > Marketplace appears in this topic, click the grid icon > Switch to | Store, instead.

  1. Go to Manage > Marketplace > Home | Leads. The Leads page opens.
  2. Click any lead with a Submitted or Assigned status. The selected lead’s details page appears.
  3. Click Manage > Assign. The Assign a Lead dialog appears.
  4. Select one of the following options:
    • Assign lead to all the sales support representatives. If you select this option, any marketplace user with the Sales Support Representative role can manage the lead.
    • Assign lead to a company. If you select this option, an Assign lead to search box appears, in which you can search for and select a company to which to assign the lead. You can only assign leads to companies that have Reseller Access. For more information, see Define company access and default user roles.
  5. Click Assign. The lead appears in the Accepted table with a status of Assigned.
