Assign leads
Marketplace Managers can assign leads created by any marketplace user to a reseller company or to all Sales Support Representatives. The assignee is then responsible for the lead.
To assign a lead
📝 Note: If the AppDirect logo appears in the upper-left corner of the page, when Manage > Marketplace appears in this topic, click the grid icon > Switch to | Store, instead.
- Go to Manage > Marketplace > Home | Leads. The Leads page opens.
- Click any lead with a Submitted or Assigned status. The selected lead’s details page appears.
- Click Manage > Assign. The Assign a Lead dialog appears.
- Select one of the following options:
- Assign lead to all the sales support representatives. If you select this option, any marketplace user with the Sales Support Representative role can manage the lead.
- Assign lead to a company. If you select this option, an Assign lead to search box appears, in which you can search for and select a company to which to assign the lead. You can only assign leads to companies that have Reseller Access. For more information, see Define company access and default user roles.
- Click Assign. The lead appears in the Accepted table with a status of Assigned.
