Specify fonts for titles and text

The font that you use for text on your marketplace can be an important part of its look and branding. You can use the Storefront Builder to select the default font and base text size for titles and other kinds of text that appear on your marketplace pages.

You can select one default font and size for titles, and another font and size for body text. When you work on individual components, you will be able to adjust the text size slightly up or down from this base value.

To specify a font color, you have to choose it in the color scheme. For more information, see Choose a marketplace color scheme.

If you want to use a font that doesn't already appear in the default lists, you can upload it from your own computer, and it will be added to the list.

To specify the default font and text sizes

1. Log in as Marketplace Manager
2. Go to Manage > Marketplace > Theme Manager.
   The Theme Manager page appears. The current storefront theme appears at the top, under the Live Theme heading. Other themes are listed under My Themes.
3. Click Customize beside the storefront theme.
   The theme opens in the Storefront Builder. The right pane shows a preview of the page, which will change as you work with it. The left pane shows three buttons: Components, Translations, and Styles.
4. In the left pane, click Styles.
   The left pane displays three options: Colors, Logos, and Typography.
5. Click Typography
   The left pane displays fields that let you select fonts, and specify text size. You can specify one default for titles, and another for regular text.
6. Under the TITLE TEXT heading, click the drop-down list and select the font you want to use for titles.
7. In the corresponding Base Size field, click the drop-down list and select a base size for titles (from 16 to 36 pixels).
8. Under the BODY TEXT heading, click the drop-down list and select the font you want to use for the main body text that appears in descriptions and other blocks of text.
9. In the corresponding Base Size field, click the drop-down list and select a base size for titles (from 14 to 20 pixels).

Upload a font

If none of the available fonts meet your needs—for example, if you have a company font that you use for distinctive branding—you can upload a font to the marketplace.

To upload a new font

1. Log in as Marketplace Manager
2. Go to Manage > Marketplace > Theme Manager.
   The Theme Manager page appears. The current storefront theme appears at the top, under the Live Theme heading. Other themes are listed under My Themes.
3. Click Customize beside the storefront theme.

4. In the left pane, click Styles.

5. Click Typography
   The left pane displays fields that let you select fonts, and specify text size. You can specify one default for titles, and another for regular text.
6. At the bottom of the TYPOGRAPHY pane, either:
   • Click the UPLOAD LICENSED FONTS area, and browse to the font you want and select it,
     or
   • Drag and drop the font from a File Explorer window to the area.
     A message appears at the top of the pane to confirm that the font is available.

The new font appears in the menu under My Fonts.
