Enable single sign-on
Marketplace Managers can enable companies on the marketplace to use external identity providers for single sign-on (SSO) into the marketplace. The external IDP must be Active Directory or another SAML-based identity system.

Enable the per-Company SSO feature on the marketplace.
Marketplace Managers can enable SSO for all companies on the marketplace, or choose to enable it only for selected companies on an individual basis. -
If SSO is enabled only for selected companies, the Marketplace Manager can enable it for a specific company from its Company Settings tab.
-
Once SSO is enabled for a company, the Company Admin can navigate to their Company Settings page and enter the required Identity Provider Configuration information at Manage > Account > Company Settings > COMPANY SETTINGS | Single Sign-On.
To enable per-Company SSO on the marketplace
- Go to Manage > Marketplace > Settings > SETTINGS | Marketplace Functionality
- In the CUSTOM UI section of the page, go to the Single Sign-on drop-down menu and select one of the options:
- Marketplace Access Companies—Only companies with Marketplace access (the current Marketplace Manager's company) can use an external identity provider.
- All companies (enabled per company with prompt)—The Marketplace Manager chooses companies that can use an external IDP and enables SSO for each of them individually. Companies that do not have the feature enabled see a banner in the Company Settings to invite them to ask their marketplace representative to enable it for them if they wish to use it.
- All companies (enabled per company)—The Marketplace Manager chooses companies that can use an external IDP and enables SSO for each of them individually. Companies that do not have the feature enabled do not see any reference to SSO in their Company Settings.
- All companies—All companies on the marketplace can use an external IDP.
- Scroll to the bottom of the page and click Save Settings.
- If you have chosen an option to enable SSO per company, you must enable the feature separately for each company. For more information on how to enable SSO for a specific company see the topic To enable SSO for a specific company below. The Company Admin must then enter the information required to enable SSO with the identity provider used. For more information, see Set up single sign-on.
To enable SSO for a specific company
- Go to Manage > Marketplace > Dashboard | HOME > Companies and click the row of the Company which is to have SSO enabled.
- In the Company Details page, scroll down and select the Settings tab.
- Set the Enable Company Single Sign-on toggle to Enabled. The Company Admin is now able to enter information to link the marketplace and the company IDP. For more information, see Set up single sign-on.
