Configure email settings

The marketplace may send many different types of email messages. These include invitation emails to new users, notices to inform them of successful payments, and confirmations to let Developers know when their product has been published.

You can configure your outbound marketplace email address and, optionally, a BCC (blind carbon copy) account where copies of all outbound emails are sent without being visible to the addressee.

You can also upload a graphics file to use as a logo in all email sent to customers in the ABOUT section of the General Settings page, as described in Configure marketplace information

To configure customer communications

📝 Note: If the AppDirect logo appears in the upper-left corner of the page, when Manage > Marketplace appears in this topic, click the grid icon > Switch to | Store, instead.

  1. Go to Manage > Marketplace > Settings > SETTINGS | General Settings, then scroll to the Email Settings section.
  2. In the Send Customer Emails from field, enter the email address you want to appear in the From field of emails that the marketplace sends.
  3. (Optional) In the BCC Customer Emails to field, enter an email address to receive copies of all emails sent to customers. The addressed customers do not see this account name.
  4. Click Save Settings. Your outbound and BCC email account settings are saved.
