Configure sales agent roles

Marketplace Managers can configure the default permissions for their sales agents—that is, users defined as Sales Support Representatives (SSRs), Customer Support Representatives (CSRs), or Resellers. These three user roles have different sets of permissions and default settings.

To configure sales agent roles

📝 Note: If the AppDirect logo appears in the upper-left corner of the page, when Manage > Marketplace appears in this topic, click the grid icon > Switch to | Store, instead.

  1. Go to Manage > Marketplace > Settings > SETTINGS| Roles. The Roles page opens and contains the following permissions tables:

    • User
    • Sales Support
    • Customer Support
    • Reseller
  2. Scroll to the table that corresponds to the user role you want to configure.

  3. Click the toggle to enable or disable one or more of the permissions. Each permission contains a description of the setting.

  4. Click Save Settings.
