Customize domain name

During a free trial of the marketplace, the domain associated with your marketplace is - ‘.byappdirect’.

If you subscribe to AppDirect, you can request to change the domain (URL) associated with your marketplace.

To request a domain name change

1. Contact marketplace.management@appdirect.com and provide the following information:
   1. New/ desired marketplace URL: The URL must be a subdomain. For example: subdomain.rootdomain.com.
   2. Proposed change / migration date and time: (at least 10 business days)
   3. Confirm you approve to let AppDirect manage the certificate (via CloudFlare): Yes
2. AppDirect provides a ticket number to track the request.
3. AppDirect creates an entry in the CloudFlare instance, then provides you with a CNAME and/or DNS entry which your IT team needs to update on their end.
4. Once confirmed, AppDirect syncs the records and change the base URL of your marketplace.
5. AppDirect proactively maintains renewal of the SSL Certificate.
