Set up the 2-legged OAuth app

You should create a new OAuth app to get the account credentials and configure the connector. Before you begin, ensure that you have permission to create 2-legged OAuth apps.

To set up the 2-legged OAuth app

  1. Navigate to the Zoom App Marketplace and register for a Zoom account.

📝 Note: The Zoom Administrator must enable the view and edit permissions for users to contribute and publish apps that receive event-based notifications. To do this, the administrator must enable the Internal app role. Refer to Enable the Server-to-Server OAuth role and Using role management for more information.

  1. Build and activate the app. Refer to Create a Server-to-Server OAuth app for more details.

📝 Note:
Information tab - Enter information about the app and developer contact information.
Scopes tab - Select Account, Billing, User, Phone, Role, SIP Phone, and SIP Trunk. For the Phone add-on, select View and manage all sub-accounts Zoom Phone information.

  1. Note down Account ID, Client ID, and Client Secret in the App Credentials tab.

  2. Active the app.
