Amazon Web Services products
Marketplace Managers can add Amazon Web Services (AWS) products to their catalog, and sell them as assisted sales to customers. These products can be purchased multiple times on a marketplace.
Marketplace Managers must integrate their marketplace with their Amazon Web Services account.
First, they create an account on the AWS portal and collect some information. Then they contact their AppDirect technical representative and ask them to complete the final integration steps.
Amazon Web Services products have the following limitations:
- Cancellation
Cancellation of an Amazon Web Services product on the AppDirect platform does not automatically cancel the AWS account.
For information on how to integrate a marketplace with an Amazon Web Services account, see Integrate a marketplace with an Amazon Web Services account.
For information on how to create an Amazon Web Services product, see Create Amazon Web Services products.
Amazon Web Services products can only be purchased on behalf of users. See section To purchase Amazon Web Services products on behalf of users in Purchase products on behalf of users.
Amazon Web Services products will be reconciled on the IaaS Invoice Reconciliation report.
