Invoices

Invoices are generated when the following events occur:

  • End users purchase products.
  • Recurring subscriptions become due for invoicing.

📝 Note: Invoices are not generated for free trials.

Invoice records appear in the Manage Invoices table.

The way that invoice information appears in the user interface, and the related workflows, differ depending on which invoice view version is configured for the marketplace. Use one of the following procedures to identify which one is enabled for the marketplace.

To identify which invoice view is enabled - Method 1
  1. To go to the invoices page, do one of the following depending on your role:
    • Manage > Account > Billing > Invoices.
    • Account > Billing > Invoices.
  2. Locate an unpaid invoice in the table.
    • When a Pay Now link appears in the row next to the unpaid invoice, the default view (v1) is enabled.
    • When a Pay Invoice button appears in the row next to the unpaid invoice, invoice view v2 is enabled.
To identify which invoice view is enabled - Method 2
  1. To go to the invoices page, do one of the following depending on your role:
    • Manage > Account > Billing > Invoices.
    • Account > Billing > Invoices.
  2. Click on a row. One of the following occurs:
    • Invoice details appear in a dialog. The default view (v1) is enabled.
    • Invoice details appear on a page. Invoice view v2 is enabled.
