View order details

Every purchase made on your marketplace is recorded as an order. In the AppDirect platform, orders and subscriptions are closely linked. An order represents an item or items in a purchase, while a subscription represents a company entitlement to a product. Subscriptions can contain multiple orders: for example, a subscription can include a recurring payment for a product, a one-time fee, and metered usage (reported as a one-time fee).

To view order details

📝 Note: If the AppDirect logo appears in the upper-left corner of the page, when Manage > Marketplace appears in this topic, click the grid icon > Switch to | Store, instead.

1. Go to one of the following pages, depending on the orders that you want to view:
   • To view all marketplace orders, go to Manage > Marketplace > Dashboard > BILLING| Orders. The Orders page opens.
   • To view all orders for a specific user, go to Manage > Marketplace > Dashboard > HOME| Users > user name, and scroll to the Orders table.
   • To view all orders for a specific company, go to Manage > Marketplace > Dashboard > HOME| Companies > company name, and click the Billing tab. The Orders table appears.
     At the upper-right of the Orders table, there is a toggle between Products and Editions. By default, Products is selected, and the information on the page shows subscription summary information. When you click Editions, you can view order information.
     In the Orders table, when Products is selected, the Status column displays subscription status. When Editions is selected, the Status column displays order status. For more information about order and subscription statuses, see Order and subscription statuses.
2. Do one of the following:
   • If the Products toggle is selected
     1. Click the subscription that contains the order that you want to view. The subscription details dialog opens.
     2. In the Order History table, click the order. The order details dialog appears.
   • If the Editions toggle is selected
     • Click the order. The order details dialog appears.
       The order details dialog contains billing information related to the edition and product in the order, such as billing and service start and end dates, order status, and edition pricing details.
