Edit orders

Complete the following procedure to edit an order by changing the subscription, adding a custom attribute (if one has been defined for the order), or adding a sales agent.

Marketplace Managers, Sales Support Representatives (SSRs), Customer Service Representatives (CSRs), Company and Billing Administrators, and end users, can edit subscriptions when all invoices for the product are paid.

Some marketplaces also allow Marketplace Managers, SSRs, and CSRs to edit subscriptions when there are unpaid invoices for the product, but only before the due date grace period ends, or before the due date if no grace period is configured. Only AppDirect can enable this option for your marketplace. Contact your AppDirect technical representative to request it.

Contract terms can limit the edits that you can make to subscriptions. The current subscription contract terms are either the default product contract terms when the customers bought the products or last changed their subscription, or were customized during assisted sales with the Opportunities feature when the customers bought the products. When you change a subscription, the currently configured product contract terms apply to the subscription until it is changed again or ends.

Some of the features and options referenced in this topic might not appear, depending on marketplace, role, and company configuration.
