Create reseller profiles

Complete the following procedure to create a marketing profile to promote your reseller organization on the marketplace. You must be your company’s Company Administrator to access the Marketplace Listing page where the profile is defined. After the profile is configured, a request is sent to your Reseller Manager to approve the design before it becomes available on the marketplace where potential customers can then view it.

To create a reseller profile,

  1. Go to **Manage > Reseller > Settings > General | Manage Profile. The Marketplace Listing page opens.
  2. Complete the required fields in the Basic Information area, and optionally complete the other fields.

💡 Tip If you are unsure how to use the optional fields, make an entry duplicating the field name, for example, enter Brief Overview in the Brief Overview field. When you preview your profile (in step 8), you can click on these entries on the preview page, which returns you to the corresponding field on the Marketplace Listing page where you can make the edit.

  1. Click Save. The profile is created using the basic information, logos, and categorization you entered.
  2. Click Overview in the left navigation pane. The Overview page opens.
  3. Complete the required fields in the Overview Information area, and optionally complete the other fields.
  4. Click Save. The profile is updated.
  5. (Optional) Click Customers & Media in the left navigation pane. The Customers & Media page opens. Select up to ten companies that use your service and their logos appear in the customers section of your profile. Click Save.
  6. Click Preview in the left navigation pane. The profile appears in preview mode.

    Note the following in the profile preview:
    • The Overview page opens by default. You can click Products (above the headline) to display the Products page. The products page displays all of the products that this reseller company is authorized to sell. The authorized products also appear below the Contact Information on the Overview page (not shown in the graphic).
      Reseller Managers can configure the products a Reseller can sell as described in Manage the reseller catalog.
    • Most of the elements duplicate the field names where they were created.
    • The preview header includes a Back to Dashboard button, and a toggle to Preview Profile (default) and Edit Profile.
    • You can click Edit Profile to enter edit mode. In edit mode, you can click any element to return to the dashboard field where you can edit that element.
    • Elements that were not completed include an Add button, for example the video and doc area at the top right.
    • The logos of three featured companies are included.
    • In the Contact Information pane, the contact information is imported from your company details page except for the Website. The Website entry is configured in the Learn More Link field on the dashboard's Overview page. The same link is used for the Learn More button (top right).
  7. Edit the profile as necessary, then click Request to Publish in the left navigation pane on any of the dashboard pages. A message confirms that the request was sent to the Reseller Manager.
