AppInsights dashboard for Resellers

Resellers and Reseller Managers use AppInsights as the operational dashboard for orders, quotes, commission tickets, and subscriptions. It centralizes metrics that were not previously available to users with the Reseller role alone, and gives Reseller Managers marketplace-level visibility across managed reseller companies.

On advisor marketplaces, this AppInsights experience is the primary place to review sales and fulfillment trends. The home Reseller dashboard may still show portal elements such as events, quick links, featured apps, and optional quote widgets (Quoting Pipeline, Priority Quotes, and so on) when your marketplace has them enabled. Those home-page widgets support day-to-day navigation and quote actions; trend and status analytics for orders, quotes, tickets, and subscriptions are in AppInsights.

Before you begin

To open AppInsights, you must:

• Hold the Reseller or Reseller Manager role (and any other roles your marketplace requires for AppInsights access).
• Have AppInsights assigned to your user. AppInsights is typically assigned when a Marketplace Manager invites you to the marketplace. If you do not see Insights in the navigation, contact your Marketplace Manager or AppDirect technical representative.

Availability and widget layout can differ between marketplaces (for example, advisor marketplaces versus other marketplaces). Contact your AppDirect technical representative if you are unsure whether this dashboard is enabled for your marketplace.

Open the dashboard

1. Sign in to the marketplace.
2. Go to Marketplace > Insights.
3. Open the Reseller operational dashboard from the Marketplace Insights folder.

Widgets are read-only. As with other AppInsights dashboards, you can apply filters and drill down from a chart to review underlying data where supported.

What TSD means

On advisor marketplaces, you see a dashboard tab labeled TSD + Cloud. TSD is the label AppInsights uses for metrics sourced from Provider Sales—AppDirect’s provider sales system for channel and advisor selling (orders, quotes, and commission tickets booked through that channel).

Widgets whose names start with TSD (for example, TSD Booked Orders or TSD Quotes Created) show Provider Sales data for your reseller company for the past 12 months, through the previous month. They align with the Provider Sales dashboards that Advisor + Company Admin users already see in AppInsights, but are now available to Resellers and Reseller Managers without requiring the Company Admin role combination.

The Cloud Service Provider tab shows marketplace and cloud fulfillment metrics (for example, quote status, subscription volume, and provisioning backlog) from sources outside Provider Sales. Together, the two tabs replace the need to switch between Provider Sales views and marketplace lists to understand pipeline and fulfillment health.

What you can review

Widgets are grouped into dashboards. The dashboards you see depend on your marketplace configuration.

Advisor marketplaces

TSD + Cloud — Provider Sales (TSD) metrics for your advisor company:

Use the data in your workflow

• Quote follow-up — Use Quotes by Status and Pending Approval Quotes by Age in AppInsights to see pipeline health. To open or edit a specific quote, use the Quotes list or optional widgets on the home Reseller dashboard (Quoting Pipeline, Unfinished Quotes, or Priority Quotes) when they are enabled.
• Order and subscription health — Use booked-order and subscription widgets to spot changes in volume over time. Drill down in AppInsights when you need row-level detail.
• Commission activity — Use Commission Tickets or Commissions to monitor commission-related volume alongside quote and order trends.

📝 Note: AppInsights data is refreshed on the standard AppInsights schedule (typically through the previous day). Widget counts may not match real-time lists on other marketplace pages.
