View Reseller dashboard

The Reseller dashboard can display several elements, including reseller company statistics, shortcuts to common functions, links to external web pages, and custom information with related images and links. Some elements appear by default, while others are optional and only appear after Reseller Managers configure them.

The Reseller dashboard is AppDirect-enabled. Contact your AppDirect technical representative to request it.

The following elements may appear on the Reseller dashboard:

  • Warnings—Appear when dashboard elements cannot be populated or updated. These appear by default.
  • Events—Only appear after Reseller Managers configure Events. Displays the first three future events. When the Reseller Managers configure the View All Events button, it appears and Resellers can click it to open the calendar page to view all events.
  • Featured apps—First three applications that appear in the Featured Apps marketplace category. These appear by default. When Resellers click Learn more, the associated product profile page opens. When Resellers click View All Featured Apps, the marketplace Featured Apps page opens.
  • Quick links—Only appear after Reseller Managers configure quick links. When Resellers click quick links the associated web pages open in new tabs.
  • Banner carousel—Only appears after Reseller Managers configure banners. The carousel displays rotating banners that feature either an image that Resellers click to open a website in a new tab (basic banners), or an image, title, details, and a Learn More button that Resellers can click to open a website in a new browser tab (detailed banners).
  • Create a customer company—Appears for all Reseller users when Reseller Managers grant the Reseller company permission to create companies. When Reseller users who have the Company Administrator role click the Create Company button, the Create new company page opens (see Create companies).
  • Get started today—After users complete each task once, the gray checkmark changes to green. These appear by default.
    • Get paid—Resellers who also have the Company Administrator role can click this element and the Payout details page opens (see Configure payout details).
    • Submit your first order—When Reseller users click this element, the Companies page opens, from which they can select a company, and then a user on behalf of whom they can start the Make purchase workflow to create a quote for or buy on behalf of the user (see Create quotes).
    • Complete your profile—Reseller users who also have the Company Administrator role can click this element and the Manage Reseller Profile | Marketplace Listing page opens (see Create reseller profiles).
  • Metrics—The following metrics appear by default:
    • Revenue—Reseller's lifetime total revenue excluding taxes.
    • Orders—Reseller's lifetime total number of purchase orders.
    • Customers—Reseller's lifetime total number of unique customer companies.
    • Associated revenue graph—Reseller's total revenue excluding taxes each month.
    • Associated orders graph—Reseller's total number of purchase orders each month.
    • Associated company count graph—Reseller's total number of unique customer companies that have made purchases each month.
  • Custom section—Only appears after Reseller Managers configure a custom section to provide you with custom information. When a button appears, Resellers can click it to visit the website that the Reseller Managers have provided.
