Edit resources

As a Developer, you can upload resource documents and videos to the product profile page. These provide additional information about the product, such as how-to videos, white papers, FAQs, specification sheets, and other useful resources.

Resources can be uploaded as PDFs, Scribd documents, or as links to YouTube or Vimeo videos. You can select, for each resource, whether it is visible in the marketplace or only to the reseller.

To edit resources,

1. Go to Manage > Billing and Distribution > Products > Product name | Edit > Profile & Branding | Resources. The Manage Resources page opens.
2. (Optional) Under Documents, you can add PDF documents, Scribd documents, or both. Complete one or both of the following procedures to meet your needs.

To upload a PDF

1. Enter the document name as you want it to appear on the Resource tab on the product profile page.
2. Complete one of the following:
   • Enter a document link.
   • Click Choose File, then locate and select the file on your computer.
3. (Optional) Click Only visible to Resellers to make this resource only visible only to resellers.
4. (Optional) Click Add PDF Document to add another PDF resource. Repeat this procedure to configure it. You can add an unlimited number of PDFs.

To upload a Scribd document

1. In the fields provided, enter the Scribd document's:
   • Document name
   • Document ID
   • Document key
2. (Optional) Click Only visible to Resellers to make this resource only visible only to resellers.
3. (Optional) Click Add Scribd Document to add another Scribd document. Repeat this procedure to configure it. You can add an unlimited number of Scribd documents.
4. To upload a video, complete the following steps.
   1. Enter the name of the video as you want it to appear on the Resources tab of the product profile page.
   2. Enter the YouTube or Vimeo link, and a description of the video (this is visible to users).
   3. (Optional) Click Only visible to Resellers to make this resource only visible only to resellers.
   4. (Optional) Click Add another video, if you want to upload another video resource. Repeat this procedure to configure it. You can add an unlimited number of videos.
5. Do one of the following:
   • Click Save.
   • Click Save and Preview. A preview of your marketplace product profile appears. To edit a profile element, you can link directly from the preview to the configuration page for the element.
