Publish products

You need to publish products before the Marketplace Manager can add them to a marketplace.

After you configure products, you publish them to alert the Marketplace Manager that they are ready for review. Marketplace Managers either send them back to Developers for additional changes, or publish them to the marketplace.

Marketplace Managers also review changes before they are published. When you edit configurations for published products, you click Publish again to notify the Marketplace Manager of the updates.

To send a Publish request to the Marketplace Manager

  1. Click Manage > Billing and Distribution > Products > productName | Edit. The Product Dashboard appears.
  2. Click Publish. A confirmation popup appears. Add a mandatory publication note with information for the Marketplace Manager. You have two choices:
    • Click Preview your profile to review the product as it will appear in a marketplace.
    • Click Publish Product. A notification is sent to the Marketplace Manager requesting that they review the product for publication.
