Assign platforms to products

Complete the following procedure to assign a platform, defined by a Marketplace Manager, to a product.

To assign a platform to a product

1. Select the product to which you want to assign a platform, at one of the following locations depending on your assigned user role:
   • Manage > Billing and Distrbution > Products > productName | Edit > Devices | Platforms
   • Manage > Marketplace > Products > productName | gear icon > Edit Product > Devices | Platforms
     The productName Platforms page opens.
2. Click Select Platform. The Select Platform dialog appears.
3. Select one of the options, then click Select. The Edit Platform Settings page opens.
4. Click Save. The productName Platforms page opens, a message confirms your platform has been created, and the new platform appears in the Platforms table.
5. Click Preview Profile in the top left navigation pane. The product’s details page opens. It includes the Platforms label and the platform option you selected previously.
6. (Optional) Click the platformName link in the right navigation pane of the product profile. The Featured Applications page opens and displays all products with the same platform assigned to them. The left navigation pane on this page also contains a Platforms section where you can sort products based on the platform assigned to them.
7. Click one of the following paths to return to the product dashboard, then click Publish to publish the product to the marketplace.
   • Manage > Billing and Distribution > Products > productName | Edit
   • Manage > Marketplace > Products > productName | gear icon > Edit Product
