Edit media sources and featured customers
Product profiles can include a list of media sources that have reviewed or mentioned the product, for example, a blog post, newspaper or magazine article, or television program, and feature notable customers who use the product. The intent of these marketing tools is to build customer confidence in products that they see in a marketplace.
Marketplace Managers create lists of media sources and featured customers, and then Developers can associate them with products when they configure product profiles.
To configure media sources and feature customers,
- Go to Manage > Billing and Distribution > Products > Product name | Edit > Profile and Branding | Customers & Media. The Customers & Media page opens.
- (Optional) Complete the following steps in the Articles and Reviews area:
- Click Choose One. A drop-down list of media sources appears. If no options appear, contact your Marketplace Manager.
- Select the media source that you want to quote from the drop-down list.
- Enter the link for the media source.
- Enter a quote from the media source, or enter a description of, for example, the article, review, or blog post, to which you are referring.
- Click Add another media source to add another source. A new set of Media Source fields appear. Repeat this procedure to complete the configuration.
- (Optional) Select up to ten of the customer companies that you want to feature in the product profile, from the Companies Using Your App section. If no options appear, contact your Marketplace Manager.
- Click Save.
