Deprecation notice: Legacy-to-NCE transition tools for Microsoft CSP subscriptions

AppDirect is deprecating the marketplace tools that convert legacy Microsoft CSP subscriptions to New Commerce Experience (NCE). This covers both transition at renewal and bulk transition. These capabilities will be removed on October 1, 2026.

Microsoft closed its own window for Legacy-to-NCE migration in January 2024. AppDirect's tools have supported no transitions in the last three months.

Who is affected

This change affects Microsoft CSP reseller partners who still hold legacy CSP subscriptions. Most partners completed their Microsoft-required migration before January 2024.

What do you need to do

Action is required only if you still hold Legacy CSP subscriptions. If you do not hold any Legacy CSP subscriptions, no action is needed.

• If you still hold legacy CSP subscriptions and use these tools, complete any transitions before October 1, 2026. After that date, the marketplace will no longer support Legacy-to-NCE transition workflows for any remaining subscriptions.
• If you are not sure whether you hold any legacy subscriptions, contact your AppDirect technical representative.

📝 Note: This change only affects subscriptions still on legacy CSP terms. There is no impact to existing NCE subscriptions.
