New Product Uploader experience enhanced with accessibility improvements and bulk workflow support

This release improves the new Product Uploader experience with better mobile responsiveness, stronger accessibility support, and additional bulk workflows now available in the new UI.

Key highlights

  • The new Product Uploader experience now supports mobile and tablet devices with layouts that adapt to smaller screens.
  • Newly launched pages meet accessibility standards with scores above 90%, improving usability for users who rely on keyboard navigation or assistive technologies.
  • Customers can now complete catalog upload, download, and publish tasks more easily across devices.
  • Additional bulk workflows are now available in the new Product Uploader experience, eliminating the need to switch to the legacy UI:
    • Create Entire Catalog — bulk create a full catalog by uploading a ZIP file containing multiple product CSVs.
    • Create Price Book Schedules — create price book schedules in bulk through the Create Catalog workflow.
    • Update Product Images — download and upload product images in bulk via ZIP under Update Catalog > Product Profile and Branding.
    • Update Product Media and Resources — download and upload product media and resources in bulk via ZIP under Update Catalog > Product Profile and Branding.

UI updates

Accessibility and responsiveness — Dashboard, workflow pages, upload and review screens, and Activity Log are mobile friendly and accessible.

New workflows on Dashboard — Create Entire Catalog, Create Price Book Schedules, Update Product Images, and Update Product Media and Resources are now available.

Update Catalog — Product Images and Product Media and Resources now support ZIP-based download and upload in the Product Profile and Branding flow.

Activity Log — status labels and colors have been updated for clearer job tracking, including statuses such as Completed, Pending, and Resume activity.

Known limitation

The legacy Product Uploader UI does not receive these updates

This feature is available when the new Product Uploader experience is enabled. The new product uploader experience feature is not available by default. Contact your AppDirect technical representative to request it.
