Customize child marketplace content

The Enable product profile and branding changes for products syndicated from the Network catalog setting allows a parent marketplace to control branding changes on products syndicated to their child marketplaces. Marketplace Managers can enable and disable this setting at Manage > Marketplace > Settings > Settings | Marketplace Functionality. See Configure network catalog customizations.

Setting is enabled on the parent marketplace and disabled on the child marketplace

When this setting is enabled for the parent marketplace and disabled for a child marketplace, any products the child contains from a parent or the AppDirect Network Catalog will:

• Have branding content controlled at the parent marketplace level.
• Allow the preview of the branding information.
• Allow for marketplace pricing and marketplace settings changes.

The parent marketplace limits the amount of customization that can take place on the child marketplace as shown in this table.

When this setting is enabled for the parent marketplace and enabled for the child marketplace, any products the child contains from a parent or the AppDirect Network Catalog will:

• Have branding content controlled at the child marketplace level. Any changes to product branding on the parent marketplace will not appear on the child marketplace.
• Allow the preview and edit of the branding information.
• Allow for marketplace pricing and marketplace settings changes.

The parent marketplace can allows a lot of customization at the child marketplace level as shown in this table.
