Parent and child marketplaces

Child marketplaces are available to customers who have purchased the Network Add-on feature. As part of the Network Add-on you need to have a Network edition marketplace and access to the Network Catalog Manager role.

Every child marketplace belongs to one parent marketplace. Both parent and child marketplaces can have multiple locales (region and language).

When AppDirect creates a child marketplace we will assign it a locale. If a locale on a child marketplace does not match one of the locales on the parent marketplace, then when the parent marketplace syndicates products to the child marketplace nothing will display in the child marketplace.
