Add attribute mapping

Company Administrators can map user attributes on their platform to attributes on their SAML external identity provider’s platform. Attribute mapping is only required when the attribute names do not match—for example, if the company platform uses the attribute FirstName and the identity provider uses first.name.

Company Administrators can map the following attributes:

  • Billing Day
  • Country
  • Email
  • First Name
  • Home Phone
  • Last Name
  • Mobile Phone
  • Personal Email
  • Role
  • State
  • Title
  • Work Email
  • Home Phone

This feature is available by default for all companies with Marketplace Access. See Define company access and default user roles for information about marketplace access.

To add attribute mapping

  1. Go to Manage > Account > Company Settings > Company Settings | Single Sign On.
  2. Click Add Attribute Mapping. The Single Sign-On configuration page opens.
  3. In the Attribute Mapping pane, select an attribute to map from the drop-down list.
  4. In the Identity provider attribute name field, enter the identity provider's name for the same attribute.
  5. Click Save. Mapping for the selected attribute is complete.
  6. (Optional). Continue mapping more attributes as needed.
