Brand your store
You can customize your marketplace storefront to reflect your company branding by creating a storefront display theme. A theme defines all the different pages that a visitor may see while browsing through the marketplace. A marketplace starts with a default theme called Plaza, but AppDirect offers a full suite of tools that you can use to create your own themes. For more information on creating your own themes, see Customize the storefront.
The marketplace also includes a Storefront Builder that a Marketplace Manager can use to fine-tune the marketplace's look and feel directly, without having to code anything in HTML or CSS.
You can use the Storefront Builder to:
- Add your company logo to the header.
- Specify the fonts for titles and text.
- Choose the colors used for text and for page backgrounds.
- Specify the text and font for different labels and titles.
- Edit individual components on a page.
Once you have made updates to a theme, you can deploy them by publishing the theme to your marketplace.

The Theme Manager page appears. The current storefront theme appears at the top, under the Live Theme heading. Other themes are listed under My Themes. - Click Customize beside the storefront theme.
The theme opens in the Storefront Builder.
You can use the Storefront Builder to make all sorts of changes, which are described in the other topics in this section.
Once you have finished work in the Storefront Builder, click the X in the upper left corner to return to the Theme Manager page and Publish the theme .
